Nepal Exposed, Nepal

This compact tour of Nepal gives you a taste of the countries beautiful mountain scenery, ancient cultures & religions, lush wildlife parks, remote hilltop villages, and includes time to relax in the lakeside town of Pokhara. Our 11-day tour starts in Kathmandu, where we take a walking tour through the city. Later in the day we drive to Nagarkot on the rim of the Kathmandu valley. After enjoying the beautiful sunrise over the valley and stunning mountain views, we travel to Bhaktapur to see the traditional ornate, wooden architecture of the local temples.

After another night in Kathmandu, we depart in the morning for the starting point of our rafting expedition on the Trisuli River. We spend the day rafting and the evening camping on sandy beaches on the riverbank. The next morning brings more exciting rafting before we travel to Chitwan National Park. We spend two nights in a wildlife lodge with the chance to go on safari in search of tigers, rhinos and wild elephants as well as many other exotic animals. After leaving the park we travel to Pokhara where we have two days to explore this picturesque town.

Returning to Kathmandu we stop en route at the village of Bandipur, this tiny village has many sites to explore. The next day we start with a visit to the Bandipur caves before continuing on to Gorkha Durba. This temple/fort is situated in front of the Annapurna’s and makes for an unforgettable sight! Our tour ends after a last night back in Kathmandu.
