Your website was very accessible with detail info. The Cairo hotel rooms could have been better. Loved all the other hotels!! Cairo was awesome and the felucca was the highlight!! Loved it!! Must do. The only negative was leaving the Hurghada hotel only staying 1 night. The best part of my trip with my wife, was Big Mo!! He was attentive, exciting, knowledgeable, and fair. He handled problems with profassionalism and kindness. My experience with Egypt was memorable and I will share with everyone.

Your website was easy to navigate, organized. The Hurghada hotel was different, but great. Eveything on the tour was excellent, especially all historical sites. I learned a lot of really good information. There weren't any negatives.

Your sales team was excellent and the website was very exhaustive, plenty of info. The guide was excellent and so was the information given by him! The rep Ahmed Ali was great! The itinerary and organisation was good but some points were too fast. A negative for me was the bus ride to Hurghada. Very small. The felucca was good but I think a small heater would be nice. The tour was great and I already recommended to my friends! The highlight of the tour was just listening to Big Mo. He is incredible. My time in Egypt and with Big Mo was transformative and life changing. He is an incredible historian and felt as if I was a part of his family at the end. I'm sad to go home but look forward to returning.

Your sales team was excellent and all was perfect with the booking porcess =) Your website is clear and easy to understand. The sites were all excellent. My highlights were the tour guide and the food/temples. I didn't enjoy the train ride. Your sales consultant and booking process was excellent but you you need to make clearer heat, steps, walking distances ? one v.overweight guest struggled. Your website is good, good use of tabs etc. The itinerary was good, but another day in Aswan would have been good. Very slow there bec of very large group. The least enjoyable part of the trip was being merged with the larger group in Aswan ? took up a lot of valuale time waiting for everyone else. But the tour was excellent. Aswan was the highlight and the free time in Loxir. VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE GUIDE. Mohammed was an excellent guide, informative, helpful, humourous & highly professional. This was my 8th timein Egypt ? normally travel independently but recently got married and wanted something more structured ? my wife had an amazing time so was well worth choosing Encounters.

Would have liked to have known about the entrance fees before the tour. The hotels were mostly average. I didn't enjoy some things at them. The sites visited were all great as well as the felucca experience. The highlight was going iinside the Great Pyramid. I enjoyed it greatly overall.

Would have liked all hotel reservations, flights info, all the details before the tour. The nubian dinner was the least enjoyable part. The felucca & Edfu temple were the highlights. Saw so much in such a short period of time, such an incredible experience.

Would have liked a more detailed itinerary before the tour. The welcome meeting was excellent, but I would have had everyone introduce themselves. All the sites were great, could use more time at Karnak. The felucca was my favourite. The tempels were also a highlight. I didn't enjoy all the bus rides. Everything else was excellent. Waleed went above and beyond for our group. He was incredible.

Weather in Egypt was great and no rain. Pack accordingly if going in winter. Sightseeing was fascinating. Haven't seen pyramids yet missed first day flight to Chicago cancelled but expect great. The hotels, sites, guides, reps were all excellent. The itinerary was good but it was a lack of sleep vacation. I didn't enjoy the lack of sleep before flying. Would have liked pyrmaids on day 2 of tour in case miss cancelled Chicago flight. It was an an excellent tour overall and my highlight was the resort was all inclusive & restaurant meals included.

We loved the hotel in Luxor. The bed at the Cairo hotel was very uncomfortable and we did not like the Hurghada hotel at all. The transport was good but we would have liked a coach for Hurghada transfers. The felucca was good but went too long? very cold having dinner & we all very tired. It was a good tour overall and the highlights were Ramses II temple & Valley of Kings.

We had some confusion over our booking, which meant we arrived without a tour. Fortunately, the team in Egypt were AMAZING in getting everything sorted out. We were very well looked after! Eveything was very good and the only negatives were the constant hassle from local vendors (especially in Luxor). The Pyramids and Luxor temple were my highlights.

We could not hvae had a more passionate guide or helpful reps. They were excellent. The condition of the room in the hotel in Cairo was poor, but venue excellent. The transport was good but all small buses are very bumpy. The felucca was also good but too long. My personal highlights were the pyramids, King Tut's tomb and Waleed Kamouna.

Travel consultant's knowledge and helpfulness was good before the tour. Provision of documents before travel was poor. Meet and greet at the airport was poor- no one there. Wadi Rum Camp showers were bad.Amman City tour and As Salt were highlights.

Travel consultant Canan was wonderful, excellent service. Your website has goo descriptions and cool pics. Airport meet and greet was amazing and the meeting at the start of the tour. Itinerary was good, but I would have like option to opt out of tours if I want to do my own thing. The guide JJ is great and funny. The drivers were ok, they kept to themselves, which is ok. Not super friendly. I had a fabulous time overall. Thank you for one of the most magical, life changing and soul enriching trips of my life!

Tour guide was amazing, made us feel very comfortable. The historic sights were unreal, great experience. My personal highlights were The Valley of the Kings, the resort, and the Pyramids. The only lowlight was the comfort of the flight to Istanbul.

Tour guide is excellent, great personality and thorough. The itinerary was overall good, just more packed than wanted. The airport pickup was average, tried multiple spots, couldn't locate the rep, finally called & able to meet up! The accommodation was good, but the Cairo hotel is dated. The hot air balloon was a plus. The tour is good, but I would not take the overnight train.

This was my first trip out of my country and I can say that I truly enjoyed myself. The people, cuisine and history of Egypt were beautiful. My tour guide Mahmoud was very welcoming, knowlegdeable and helpful during the tour. Mahmoud became like family during the tour. I highly recommend him. The one negative was getting food poison. The best parts were seeing the pyramids & Abu Simbel.

This was an excellent trip. There were no negatives. I only would have liked more personal emails before trip. But everything was excellent. The felucca was a wonderful experience! The highlight was Big Mo ad his extensive knowledge of Egyptian history. This was an excellent tour overall. The highlight was the history behind the pyramids. The only negatives were the Aswan hotel (hard bed), the language barrier and aggressive sellers. Everyhting else was excellent, the tour is great value for money and we would definitely recommend.

This was an excellent tour and everything was great! My personal highlights were Sherif, Islam, the hot air balloon ride, the sights. The only negative was the booking process, Miriska's customer skills are very poor. Abrupt and dismissive. The reps Islam; Ahmed were fantastic and Sherif is spectacular. Great value for money and I highly recommend the company.

This was a good tour overall. The hotels were all good, one negative was food poisoning at Sunrise Royal Makadi Resort. The sights were good and my favourites were Valley of Kings, Philae Island and the felucca? excellent. Abu Simbel was good but missed the sunrise. I didn't enjoy the drive to & from Abu Simbel. There were some issues at the Cairo hotel and it was average. I didn't enjoy the early starts (but they were worth it). Waleed made a great experience amazing. There was not enough time to rest during the itinerary. The room in the Luxor hotel was tiny. Food awful at Hurghada hotel, gor food poisoning. But the room was lovely. The sites were mostly all great, but the Traditional Nubian DInner was not good. The food on this tour was the least enjoyable part. The felucca was excellent and the Valley of the Kings was my highlight. Overall, I give the tour 4 stars.

There was a mix up with our flight # and time for the airport pickup and I didn't enjoy the train overnight. But besides that, it was an excellent trip. Big Mo is the best tour guide I've ever had. He is very respectful, very knowledgeable on history and he is very professional and nice. He deeply cares about his job and the wellness of his group. It was a great joy to have Big Mo as our tour guide! The tour was great value for money and I would definitely recommend to friends.

There was a lack of detailed communication from the consultant before the tour. I would have liked to be sent hotel specifics concerning available upgrades to the rooms and available in-country flight times for flight upgrades while in Egypt. The tour itself was excellent. The guide Ayman was very knowledgeable and gave excellent customer service. Hotels were good, except for no heat in the room in Luxor. Hurghada hotel was excellent, but you make club car available. The transport on tour was also average? need bigger buses w/ larger windows. I didn't enjoy the 10:45pm flight from Cairo to Luxor... the departure time is too late. But it was great value for money and I would definitely recommend. Best parts were Hurghada leisure time, Falucca in Luxor, snorkeling tour.

The website was clear and concise and the booking process was excellent. Almost everything was ecellent, I only didn't enjoy the train ride and the Luxor hotel plumbing needs work. The views at the Cairo and Aswan hotels were amazing. The room didn't feel clean at the Luxor hotel. There were a lot of kids at the Hurghada hotel. Waleed is a very kind hearted person. He made this trip much more enjoyable. Waleed was able to give great information about every site we saw. He is very professional and knows a lot and was very helpful. Excellent trip overall.

The transport was all good, except the train journeys? poor quality. I was disappointed we didn't have a full day on the felucca as on my original itinerary. There was a communication problem for my arrival date at hotel. The best experiences were Petra and Wadi Rum in Jordan and Luxor Temple & Valley of the Kings in Egypt. A good tour in general.

The small size and poor quality of food in the sleeper trains should be shared with the travellers beforehand, so they can make other arrangements. Breakfast boxes for Abu Simbel were horrible (raw eggs?). Georgina restaurant should reimburse for food poisoning. I would have liked better clarification on what is required for some excursions (e.g. did not know Alexandria day trip required extra day). The guide was excellent and the pace of the tour and organisation was very good. The airport pickup was also very good. Luxor was my personal highlight and it was a very good tour in general.

The sleeper train was average and I did not enjoy the bathroom. The booking process was good, the website has good itinerary details, but I would have liked a list of suggested medications, clothing, food before the tour. On the tour the pace and organisation was good, but I would have liked more time @ sights. Mahmoud and our group was the highlight! It was good value for money and an excellent tour overall. The sites were all great, my favourites were Luxor The Temple's & our tour guide. A part I didn't enjoy was that Cairo city was crowded. Comfort on plane was BAD (From America-Istanbul). I had an excellent tour overall, it was great value for money and I definitely recommend.

The service prior to the tour was excellent. The meet and greet at the airport was very good. Waleed was one of the greatest most kind person and Im extremely grateful for him. I did not like the New Years dinner at the Aswan hotel and the Hurghada hotel was very crowded. The felucca cruise was the highlight! Especially eating with the family on the felucca. Once again, Waleed made this the trip of a lifetime.

The service from the consultant before the tour was poor. It would have been helpful to have been sent other travellers reviews before the tour. The tour was excellent and is great value for money. Accommodation and sites were great. I didn't enjoy the long bus ride! Big Mo's extensive historical knowledge was a highlight. The best part is seeing the wondrous Karnak temples with 136 columns.

The service for booking the tour was excellent. Website was easy to use but should have a faster scroll option. The airport meet and greet was good and the welcome meeting was good. I wanted more specific historical and local facts. Listening to other guides they were very detailed & specific. I don't feel like I learned anything outside of my own research. The guide was very nice, however info provided on locations & travel was general. I had to ask lots of questions & explanation was limited due to lack of English. Petra hotel I almost injured myself due to broken amenities. Requested room change and the accommodations were 100% upgraded (shock). Amman Rum "the worse" multiple issues, they would not help! Bus was awesome. Muhammed the driver was one of the most experienced awesome drivers I have ever had :). The best! I would recommend the tour if accomodations were greatly improved. Very pleased with promptness of change in hotels for Amman! Thanks for everything

The sales consultant was excellent, but emails aren't always replied to. The airport pickup was great, very friendly. Mahmoud was fantastic. Well put-together tour, great sights & good pace. The hotels were good, but slow or no internet. The transport was fantastic. One thing I didn't like was that some of the street sellers are too pushy. An excellent holiday overall, it's a fantastic trip. Well done. Thank you to everyone for a great tour!

The sales consultant and booking process was excellent. I think I would have liked some more information about access ? steps etc ? as this would help less physically fit guests who struggled with some attractions. The airport pickup was very welcoming and the guide was professional + polite. The felucca was fantastic, that and Queen Neferati's tomb were my favourites. The one negative was that some guests struggled with mobility. Mohammed was agem of a tour guide ? very friendly, accommodating and so knowledgeable and personable ? would recommend Encounters for an introduction to the best Egypt has to offer ? will definitely come back again ? thank you. Loved every minute.

The process to book was good, I liked the downloads on your website. The accommodation and sites visited were all excellent. Staff were great at Hurghada hotel. For me all of Luxor was the best part. I didn't enjoy the train ride, to long. We were sick and missed the felucca. Big Mo is a star in your company. I've learned more in this short time in Egypt then I ever expected. I would book again after requesting his services. Thanks all, wonderful.

The pickup at the airport was excellent, Kalifa was always very helpful. Hotels were all excellent, only bad internet service at Luxor Hotel. The sites we visisted were all excellent and my favourite was Valley of the Kings. Mohamed was an excellent tour guide. He is very personable and had so much information to share with us. He made our visit very special and more than we expected. The whole Encounters team did a great job! One negative? the overnght sleeper train. Stop using this/ old, dirty + uncomfortable. An excellent trip otherwise.

The pace and organisation of the tour was perfect. Ayman was fantastic, he was a great guide. Luxor and Karnak were my highlights. The only negative is that the vans were a little small for someone as tall as me. Thank you for a great holiday! Will recommend to friends. A great time.

The negatives were the tranport? too many hours in a small bus. And the value for money was average? found people that paid less. But an excellent tour in general. Pyramids/Luxor/Hot air balloon were the highlights. Mohamed was a great tour guide. Super informative and entetaining. Help with all our needs with prontitude. The tour is amazing and the culture is beautiful. Definitely a lovely experience with a great tour guide.

The itinerary was good but a little fast. Waleed was excellent, ie delivered information with passion. The only negative on the was the Aswan hotel. The Hurghada hotel stay/food was a highlight. The hotels were all very good, but the ones in Cairo, Aswan and Luxor were not near shops. The least enjoyable part of the trip was the vendors in your face. The pyramids were my personal highlight, and it was an excellent tour overall. Good value for money.

The hot air balloon was the higlight of the tour and Tarek our pilot was super experienced. The food on the felucca was amazing. There was no hassle at the airport, the meet and greet was good and we had easy passage through the airport. All questions were answered at the welcome meeting and it was very easy to follow and understand. There was a perfect amount of time at each site. Our tour lead Waleed Kamouna made us feel very comfortable with the country traditions and what was expected from us. The other guides Marawn and Ahmed Ali made sure we were protected and had anything needed at all times. Their escorts were very pleasant and safe. We felt we touched upon every sight in Egypt.

The guide was very personable + well organised. Amazing breadth of knowledge. The itinerary was good but the pace was sometimes a little rushed. The Pyramids Hotel in Cairo was poor, food cold and cold water. The Aswan hotel had a great view but no kettle and omly water on arrival (no top up). The Luxor hotel had no room Wifi. The Hurghada hotel was excellent, goood Wifi, many food options, good service. But poor water pressure. The sites were all good. Look forward to opening new museum in Cairo. Aswan was good but the Nubian Dinner was not very good. The buses were good but lacked Wifi, some were better than others. The drivers were excellent, very safe. The felucca was very enjoyable. The highlights were all the wonderful historical sites. The lowlight was the long bus trips. We would have loved to attend a Sound + Light show at one of the monuments. All in all, a good tour and really great experience. Good value for money.

The felucca was good but too long. The Aswan hotel was beautiful but the New Years Eve Event was horrible- way too expensive and definitely not worth it. The highlights for me were the Cairo camel ride and the Valley of the Kings. It was an excellent tour overall.

The consultant before the tour was very helpful and quick with replies. The website had a lot of info ? easy access. The guide was 10/10, so nice and not too over the top. Knows a lot. The reps were so accommodating and the pace was very easy and organised. Cairo was busy but great. Aswan was beautiful and I loved Edfu. Luxor was busy and fun. The drivers were great. This was THE BEST holiday! My highlights were the Pyramids and Big Mo. He was amazing so nice and helped with everything he could within his power. Wasn't over the top and smiled the whole time. Amazing tour! I only didn't like the extra charges not included.

The booking system was excellent, your website was very thorough. Your note section was extremely valuable. The airport meet and greet was the best I ever experienced. The itinerary, pace and organisation was excellent, every minute accounted for. The sites were great, but I wanted to spend more time at Luxor. The entire Luxor experience was outstanding. Especially the hot air balloon ride over the valleys. The least enjoyable part was the 14 hours train ride? wasted time. It was an excellent tour overall. The booking process was good, but It would have been nice to know ahead that the meet & greet could be at a flexible time. We flew in early and it wasn't much of an event. ? this was Jordan portion but not clear through encounter. I like the map images with the tours when searching. Made it easy to choose what we were looking for. The guide was excellent, Big Mo lives up to his reputation! Very knowledgeable. The reps were excellent and helpful when needed. The itinerary felt quite rushed. Moving every night. The accommodation was good overall, but I was disappointed that most hotels had a pool but with scheduling we never made it to hotel until after they were closed. Also many weren't heated for this time of year. The sights were all good. In Aswan, in the brochure it sounds like we were eating at a family house. Instead of large restaurant. Food was good though. In Luxor there were lots of sights in one day. The felucca itself was really good. But half our group got very ill from I would assume the meal on beach. I didn't like the rushed pace and moving every night. Leaving the hotel @ 2:30 am is also very frustrating, as we are trying to enjoy our time here and ruins the night before. It was a good tour overall and the highlights were Big Mo and seeing the Pyramids.

The booking process was good, but I didn't understand to actually BRING USd with us for the tipping kitty, so instructions could be more specific for others. The itinerary is good but it's a lot to cover without a lot of rest. We spent too much time waiting for the train in Cairo and I didn't enjoy the long train ride! The tranpsort was also good but I didn't like the long drive to Abu Simbel. The drivers were great and very professional. The Nubian dinner was excellent! The balloon ride was also a highlight. The booking process was good but it would have been good to know that the meet and greet isn't that important. We flew in a day early to make sure we didn't miss it and it was not much. The itinerary was very rushed. 2 days at red sea was only 30 hours. The local reps were average? booking 5:20am flight and getting us up a 2am is poor. The hotels were all good, except in Luxor paying for Wifi at a 5-star hotel is not good. All the sites were great but the felucca was poor? half the group got food poisoning. The highlights of the tour were Big Mo and the tour guests.

The transport was mostly good but Abu Simbel is too far in that type bus. I was too sick to participate in the felucca cruise. I didn't enjoy the 18hr train ride Cairo to Aswan and the commute back & forth to/from north/south part of country. In general, it was an excellent tour. Tour guide & local reps. outstanding! The booking process was excellent. The airport meet and greet was on time + friendly. We felt safe with Waleed since the welcome meeting. Waleed had lots of information to share with us. The reps were very professional. The overall pace was a little fast, but I'm happy we saw a lot. The service at the Cairo hotel was not great? no twoels, hairdryer. NYE party at the Aswan hotel was disappointing; food was terrible. The Hurghada hotel is a great hotel, some staff were aggressive. I didn't enjoy the long bus journeys. All of the sites visited were great? lots of fantastic history? loved it! Waleed did his very best in ensuring we had a smooth, safe journey. We didn't have to wait long in all places and the people we came into contact with were professional. The hot-air balloon was a highlight.

The booking process was excellent, Mariska very helpful. At the airport meet and greet, our flight was delayed so driver driving 2:30am and very tired and swerving on motorway. Welcome meeting was good but would have been good to have JJ go around the group for introductions etc. Great range of activities, unless arrive a day early then no time in Amman so almost obligatory to change schedule. Too much time on meal breaks and not enough time at sites. Tour guide knew a lot and at times his delivery of info was very brief. Jerash felt very rushed at 2hrs and then considerable pressure needed from tourists to be taken to Karak rather than an alternative. Amman hotel was poor, no hot water/poor breakfast. At Petra La Maison hotel the room smelt so was shifted on second night. Bath towels damp in rooms at beginning of stay. Staff very kind especially at Rooftop bar. This is a great tour ~ at times the guide appeared to be distracted and there might have been more opportunity of options to shop at local market or lookout points. Jordanian people were very friendly. Tour agents were responsive to change of hotel too.

The best part of the tour was seeing the pyramids. The negative was that I got sick? missed Valley of Kings + 1/2 day in Luxor. Food was disappointing, too much bread and carbs! Too much smoking in the Cairo hotel. Everything else was very good: the airport meet and greet, the guides, the organisation and the transport. Good value for money.

The airport pickup was good and the welcome meeting was good. I was tired. Sameh is great at his job. My highlight was the Valley of the Kings. Negatives were smog/why bring reusable water bottle if water is poison. The tour guides litteraly have master degrees in archeology. They are so knowledgable. The tour was excellent overall.

The airport pickup was excellent. Kalifa made us all feel welcome + taken care of. The guide was excellent. He is very friendly + outgoing. He give the info with great stories so if comes alive. Great service from bus drivers to boats. Great organication but some days too long. The hotels were good but the Luxor one had bad internet service. In the Aswan hotel I had a massage & the manager tried to hard sell a massage to my husband. The felucca was just wonderful and my highlight was Luxor at night. I did not enjoy the train ? dirty + disgusting. Overall, an amazing trip. Great value for money. The Encounters travel team is amazing! Everything runs smoothly, I felt well cared for + had the trip of a lifetime. Kalifa was a great organizer + Mohamed was the best guide ever! A great story teller with so much knowledge + so much enthusiam. We felt lucky to have him!

The airport pickup and transfers were all exceptional. Aboudie went above & beyond & was extremely pleasant & professional even under pressure from complaining AUSSIES! The hotels and transport were good. The sites that we visited were all excellent and enjoyable. I didn't enjoy the museum in Cairo. An excellent tour overall and I would definitely recommend to friends.

The airport meet and greet and welcome meeting was excellent, very informative, pleasant, helpful. Sheriff's knowledge is second to none, he is unbelievable, best guide ever. Tamam! Couldn't ask for more, so helpful & kind. The whole team has been incredible. The itinerary was fast paced but thorough, made every experience unforgettable. Cairo was a daunting place made accessible by the incredible guides. Aswan Philae Temple is beautiful, the Nubian village was friendly. Edfu is an amazing place. Luxor is jaw dropping, words cannot describe. The felucca was breathtaking, a wonderful expeience? and great music!! The transport was okay, but the minubus got a little uncomfortable on the long trips. Traffic is very different to back home. The drivers made it very comfortable. Overall, I cannot describe how good

Sherif was great. Super knowledge and made the tour entertaining. The itinerary was good, but the last couple of days had a lot of down time. Perhaps could reduce by a day. It was excellent overall and the Pyramids and felucca were highlights. The least enjoyable part was the constant hassle from the locals to buy things. A massive thank you tp the team in Egypt for working to get us on a tour after a misunderstanding with sales rep meant we had thought we were booked and turned up but weren't. They arranged all our transport + accommodation last minute so we could still enjoy the tour. We very much appreciate the work + trouble they went through.

Pre-tour nptes should include a section on ALCOHOL IN JORDAN and more strongly emphasis culturally appropriate dress. Members of our tour were astonished that buying beer in South Jordan wasn't possible and were inappropriately annoyed at Khalid, through no fault of his own. Airport meet and greet was excellent. Itinerary was excellent, liked the re-organization of Dead Sea to Day 2. Lunch was the area that needs the most improvement. The Dana Buffet is the only place I'd recommend. Please find a more eco-friendly water option. We went through a lot of cases of 600ml plastic bottles. I'd recommend a gallon jug with a spicket for refilling reuasable bottles. Also, one guest was very difficult. Khalid did a good job being patient with this person.

Pre-tour booking was very good. I would have liked to receive the flight information sooner and also details about the local tour company (eg Hajjat Tour). Airport meet and greet was great- on time and helpful! Itinerary was well-planned; great value. We often had lunch together. Maybe include lunch and guide gratuity in price. Hotel rooms were reasonable but needed signficant updates. The bathrooms were also not as functional as they could have been. Fabulous time overall.

Pre travel service was excellent. I booked with Ant. I felt that there were too many breaks, rest, and late starts. Could fit more free time in and avoid peak heat. Only one option for lunch. I enjoyed the tour overall.

Our tour guide Boudi was great ? helpful, pleasant, very knowledgeable & well dressed. Other rep Wadi was poorly dressed & unfriendly. The itinerary, sites and activities were all excellent. My highlights were Luxor/Abu Simbel. I didn't enjoy the long drive to Abu Simbel. The hotels were mostly good, but the Cairo one had poor food and a bad room. The Hurghada hotel had a nice room but a bad location. It was an excellent trip overall and great value for money, I would recommend.

Our guide was the sweetest human alive!!! Could not speak more highly of Waleed!!! The hotels were good, the Cairo hotel has great breakfast. The Luxor facilities needed improvement. All the sites were great, but wish we had more time @ the Sphinx. I didn't enjoy the food on the train. It was an excellent tour overall. This was my first travel group experience and I could not be happier it was with your company. Everyone was amazing and everything was well executed. Egypt was my number one destination in the world and this tour helped me love the country and the culture even more ? Waleed was the highlight. His knowledge and care and stories made every experience even more beautiful. I would definitely recommend to friends as long as they can get Waleed =)

Our consultant before the tour was excellent. Gavin gets 2 thumbs up! Our tour guide Mohammed is excellent! He is a big reason I enjoyed the tour as much as I did. He's the best guide I've ever had! The highlight of the tour was all of Luxor. The show in Cairo is a great addition! But I think West Bank should be part of the standard package. Not Add On. Only the transport was average. Overnight van... it is what it is. An excellent tour with great value for money pverall.

No one was there at the airport meet and greet. Welcome meeting was very good. Wadi Rum was the highlight. The least enjoybale part was geting scammed in Petra. Great value for money and excellent tour overall.

My travel consultant Gavin was very good. The itinerary was good but I recommend Abu Simbel be included in base tour, allowing can't of travel south to stay in hotel & Abu Simbel for 1 night. This would give better visit and break up the drive. The accommodation was good but the door lock in the Cairo hotel was not very secure. Also I'd prefer to retain control of the $45 tipping kitty. It's not clear who that does/doesn't cover. The sights were very good but I wish we had visited the pyramids at 0830 opening. The guide Muhammad was excellent and he was the highlight of the tour. An excellent tour overall. Thank you!

Mahmoud was the best guide. Extremely knowledgeable friendly, and caring. Mahmoud's group had the most fun out of all the groups. The felucca cruise was the highlight for me. Negatives were food poisoning/train ride.

Luxor was the definite highlight. I didn't enjoy the felucca that much and the fish dish at the Nubian dinner was not appetising. The Hurghada hotel was average, bathroom sink was faulty and door locked took several attempts. The airport pickup was excellent as well as the welcome meeting. It's an excellent tour in terms of value for money.

Loved the Hurghada resort!! Very good staff + service here!! Loved the pyramids and camel ride. The Luxor market with our guide Mahmoud was a highlight. I loved the dinner cruise but they sat us right by the speakers and it was too LOUD! Our tour guide, Mahmoud Elgabry was awesome!!! He made the entire trip extremely pleasant. He did a fantastic job telling us about your country and also shared his personal experiences. He is the BEST!! Mohamed in Hurghada was excellent too! Fantastic job by everyone at Encounters!!

It was a very nice tour, though sometimes amount of travel time and time at sites could be better distributed. Would be nice to offer transport option before/after tour even if it's not to/from the airport. Itinerary was good, though some more places could have been visited. Factory/shop visits are nice, but products are expensive and shopping is not my main goal. Knowlegde of our guide was exceptional but he gave too much information at times. It's hard to take in so much information so sometimes less is better. Good hotels/accommodations. Amann guest house is very nice, though far from the center (for exploring) and breakfast is not that great.

It was a very good tour overall. Some of the drivers were good and some not so good. I didn't enjoy arriving a day late and leaving early- could not do the Nile dinner cruise. If I had known that I would not get to the hotel until 2am? MISSING FIRST DAY I would have arrived a day sooner. The highlight was on the first day to see the pyramids out our window of the hotel.

I would have liked to receive a packet with details on what to ware before the tour. The tour was good value for money, but should include pics! People will use/share the pictures so it is like free advertising. Also need 2 days at the resort! The tour was great! We learned so much and thankful for Waleed!!! The train was not great, but the felucca was amazing! The Pyramids of Giza (camel ride there) was also a highlight.

The reps were always there to help! This was the best trip ever! There were no negatives, trip was perfect. It was the perfect way to see the sights in Egypt. I would have liked an actual list of hotels ? many were not the same as what was ,emtioned on website. The hotels we stayed in were good, except for the one in Aswan, had to change rooms 3 times due to problems. The sites visited were all excellent. The felucca ride was amazing and dinner was good, but it went for too long & the journey back to hotel was beyond painful. Needs to finish earlier. The hot air balloon in Luxor was the highlight. The tour was great overall and good value for money. I would recommend to friends.

I wasn't sent all needed info before the tour. Meet and greet at airport was not at immigration as directed, no holding up sign and didn't assist with luggage. Driver Majid was attentive and entertaining in interactions. Guide was professional, affable & personable. Clear, informative, helpful suggestions. Cultural, social knowledge imparted at appropriate times (no overload). As Salt was the highlight (would enjoy full day here).

I was told if I wanted to have a room next to my daughter I should have asked for one beforehand. I was told that I should have planned to carry my RX with me beforehand (my luggage was misrouted for 5 days.) The felucca was poor, gor food poisoning on boat meal. I didn't enjoy the Nubian Village food. The highlight was Karnak. It was an average tour pverall, it was rushed and had early wake up calls.

I think things went well generally, but the longer we were here the more it became clear that this isn't my sort of vacation. I need more details (what times trains leave/arrive & so on) & resent being left in the dark & assume that "there's a plan". You also need to give people the freedom to say "no" to some activities? always felt pressured to go along. The initial cruise was nice, but let people leave when they want instead of holding them on an island for hours. There was a lack of individual time and a detailed itinerary. I would have liked more detailed information before the tour (eg. exact names of hotels, flight numbers, etc). But it was good value for money and my highlights were Edfu & Philae Temple and the Nubian dinner.

I think Petra should start earlier and tourist should be better prepared to be hassled by vendors, more time spent in Wadi Rum. I thought Khalid did a great call by moving the Dead Sea to the first day rather then the last.

I liked the website, very colorful. The guides and reps and airport pickup were all excellent. The sights we visited were all great too, my highlights were on the Nile and pyrmid's. Feed your group don't let them starve or you may have a fainter. Tour guild amazing.

I liked the tour notes & information on your website. It was an excellent tour. My highlights were Pryamids/Valley of Kings? ALL of it! I only didn't enjoy the Nubian Village Walk. Great price, great tour & personalized service! Highly recommend!

I liked that everything was available to download on your website. The entire tour was excellent, 5 stars for everything from the hotels to the sites to the reps and the airport pickup. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the van ride from Luxor to Hurghada. Our guide Mohamud was so dedicated and knowledgeable. Learning so much about Egypt from him was the highlight. I would definitely recommend this company and travel with you again.

I hated that horrible train. I would not recommend this option to anyone. But the tour overall was excellent, especially the guide, local reps, and airport meet and greet. The highlights were the hot air balloon and Karnak. The tour is good value for money.

I had an excellent trip to Egypt. The sites, hotels, activities were all great. Our tour guide was the highlight, he always had additional info, very knowledgeable. The least enjoyable part was the sleeping train (you should eliminate this part). The tour was excellent value for money and I highly recommend.

I had an excellent trip overall. The sites were all great, especially the pyramids + Sphinx + Falucca. The transport was good except for the train. It was dirty and a horrible experience. Another negative was the long days ? eg. 3:00am to 10:00pm. The tour was great value for money and I would travel with you again and recommend to others.

I had an excellent time overall. The buses were great but the train was bad. My favourites were seeing the pyramids & nubian village & felucca. I didn't enjoy Luxor in general. Sharif did awesome. Well informed, helpful, and energetic. Would've liked more time at Cairo markets & pyramids.

I found this to be a good trip in general. I didn't like the early wake-up calls for flight, but everything else was good. The drivers were good and the reps were excellent. The airport pickup was also excellent. Luxor was amazing! Mamoud was so much fun!

I found everything on the tour to be very good. The guide and local reps were excellent, so was the accommodation. The Pyramids and Valley of the Kings were particular highlights. One negative for me was the trip from Cairo to Luxor. But an excellent holiday overall.

I found booking the tour to be good, but I hope your compnay send a complete tour voucher & plan before I leave home (I got after I landed at Cairo Airport). The hotels were good and the sites all excellent. I did not enjoy the train toilets/sickness at Aswan. The team very fun & friendly and the hot air balloon was the best. I enjoyed it alot overall.

I enjoyed the trip greatly overall. Some days were too long and the train was terrible. Dirty and not for tourist. The sites were all great, the guides were excellent and the hotels were good. The highlight was the history of Egypt. It was great value for money and I would definitely recommend to others.

I did not like the cash exchange at the welcome meeting. The Aswan hotel was dirty and had poor service. The felucca was the least enjoyable. But it was a good tour in general. The highlights were the Great Pyramid, Sphinx, Camel Ride.

Great tour!! Just a shame that we stopped & looked at every single rubble ruins that used to be something. Once or twice would have been fine :) Airport meet and greet was excellent. It would have been nice to have a proper intro meal with group. The itinerary was good. Good info provided before the tour. Airport meet and greet service was poor! Negative experience, no one waitng- took 55 mins to find a way to phone. Need a alternative contact @ airport, no one was willing to ring for me when I wasn't met for 55 mins. I had no sim (Jordian) & no Jordian money. Transport was good, all attempts made to solve A/C issues. Preferred samller bus- big bus good, but some limited interactions. Enjoyed the tour overall, good group, small group size was good, all the sites were good.

Gavin was very helpful and responsive! Airport meet and greet was great, middle of the night was no problem. An email notification with meeting time for the tour start would have helped. The itinerary balance was good. I think an earlier start at Petra would be better. I went at opening and it seems my Petra experience was much more enjoyable than those that came later. It might be due to the language barrier, but I would have loved more interaction with our Bedouin hosts. They were very friendly, but I didn't feel as though I learned much of their culture. Amman staff was very accommodating. The first room was very unsecure so I asked to move and there was no issue. (I've noticed many of the balcony doors don't have working locks. The first room was easily accessed by the fire escape, so that was a big security concern to me.)

Excellent tour. Would have liked to have been sent info on all the hotels we were staying at before the tour. The guide was excellent? helpfull + Well informed, Good problem solver. Entertaining. Hotels, transport, sites were excellent. All other activities were wonderful. The least enjoyable was the train rides. Staff was very helpfull, Informative and knowledgeable. When emergencies arose our guide was ready to provide help to overcome stomach upset and land sickness.

But we had a great time in Egypt for our anniversary. Our guide Mahmoud was awesome. Would definitely recommend Encounters and travel with them again.

The only thing I would have liked was more information before the tour on individual hotel reservations on trip voucher and more information on possible upgrades & recommendations. Communication prior to the tour was poor, received no reply to one of my queries, was very disappointed that transfers were not included as I arrived the day before the tour started. The hotel in Amman was disorganised and staff not as helpful as elsewhere. My room was dirty. At the hotel in Petra, toilet didn't flush, felt very dirty. Also wish we didn't eat at big roadside tourist buffets. There was no ability to choose how much I spent on food, as most meals were buffet, flat fee. I'm not a big eater so found it very poor value. Itinerary was great, a bit rushed, but saw alot. The guides and reps were excellent, Khalid + Mahmood were perfect! Can't fault them whatsoever. The transportation was excellent, very comfortable- loved the complimentary water. Driver service was perfect.

Big Mo is amazing, I will be recommending him to all my friends! The felucca eas so much fun and Abu Simbel & Luxor Temple were AMAZING! The drive to Luxor was a bit rough. I didn't enjoy the early flight back to Cairo from Hurghada. But we had an absolutley AMAZING time! Egypt has always been a dream for me to visit. Booking was great, Mariska was very prompt. Big Mo is absolutely incredible! His knowledge is unmatched & his manners and professionalism are superb!! Accommodation was good, but no hot water in Aswan hotel. The sights were great, would have liked more time @ pyramids and Karnak. Philae Temple was my favorite!! The felucca was all great! The least enjoyable part was the sleeper train. Excellent holiday overall! Big Mo was absolutely incredible! His knowledge of Egypt knows no bounds, and he is incredible friendly. Our tour guide Mohammed does a great job. He went out of his way to be very helpful. Baloon ride was great and the tombs in Luxor very cool. The felucca was good but 2 nights too long? one night is good. I didn't like the train ride to and from Aswan. Overall, it was an excellent once in a lifetime trip. For someone who is not a traveler, I had a great time and saw things I could not see anywhere else in the world.

The welcome meeting was excellent? the guide Waleed is the best, better than I could have imagined! The hotels were excellent and the sites were great. He did a wonderful job! The accommodation was good. The Aswan hotel thad a GREAT VIEW. The Luxor hotel was good but dated. Hurghada was great had a great guide with Mohamid. Some negatives were that I got sick on the felucca :( I did not like the buffet in Cairo or the bread box we got from train. Also in Cairo, was not ready for locals vendors. I loved Valley of Kings and Luxor temple. A good tour in terms of value for money. Would definitely recommend to friends.

Booking process was good, would have liked domestic flight information (we wanted to scuba dive but didn't know if we could r/t flight time). Website was easy to follow. Our guide Big Mo was amazing!! He was made for this job! The accommodation was good, the Aswan hotel had an amazing view! The Luxor hotel had nice restaurants. Mohamed at the Hurghada hotel was great too! All the sights we good, but didn't like the aggressive vendors in Cairo. The felucca was also good but alot of people got sick from food. I also didn't enjoy the bread box we got for breakfast on the train! It was a good tour overall. Some people were made to do certain jobs, Big Mo was definitely made for this one! Accommodartion was mostly good, but the Aswan hotel was dirty? food made people sick. I also didn't enjoy the train ride? food & dirty. The tour overall was excellent, all the sights were great. Cairo was awesome!! The felucca was really fun, but need better ramps to get on and off. You also need to be clear in your advertizing that your Nubian Adventure is for physically fit people! People who cannot climb or walk should not come. The number one highlight was Waleed Kamouna!! #2 was the balloon ride, #3 riding camels at the pyramids. The tour was great value for money and I would definitely recommend to friends.

Booking before the tour was good. I would have liked a more detailed itinerary that specified times (departure each day, tours, etc.) and activities. Everything was general and communication with the group/guide weren't always clear. Also we were here during Ramadan. Some info on that would have been helpful. The airport meet-and-greet was great. Smooth and simple. JJ did a good job. There were some hiccups w/tour tickets & transportation to tours but I don't think they were his fault. He was friendly and had good suggestions. The only issue w/Gerasa hotel was the housekeeping. Front desk & bell staff were excellent but housekeeping needs work. Our trash hadn't been emptied. We didn't have toilet paper and there were wet, gross towels in the room when we checked in. Transport was great except when we were supposed to be picked up for the Petra night tour & no one came so the hotel staff had to call friends to pick us up. I enjoyed the sites the most. Petra was amazing.

Booking and sales consultant was excellent. The airport pickup was great, but please make it clearer when is the best time to exchange currency. The sites were all great. The transport was good but please allow more leg for taller people. We had a real issue with room on the bus. The train ride was my least favourite only because of the small rooms. The felucca experience was excellent but please consider a way to keep clients warmer on the overnight sleep it was really cold. Overall, this trip is amazing. Please consider Big Mo as your guide! Understand he very punctual so if that no your thing. This tour was excellent with the exception of one gentleman who really was aggressive and seemed to feel a sense of entitlement. It was a downer for some of the group. We divided into groups on our own and I think our tour guide got fussed at for it.

Big Mo was an excellent tour guide. The airport pickup and welcome meeting were very good. The itinerary was good but the pace of the tour is sometimes too aggressive? too early mornings. The hotels were all excellent. Hurghada was a great hotel but thought we were staying 2 days but got in @ 9.15 pm & had to leave 3 AM next day. All the sites were very good and the transport was excellent. Negatives were quite a few got sick after eating meal on the felucca. The highlight was seeing the pyramids. An excellent tour overall, would definitely travel again and recommend to friends.

Before the trip, I would have liked info on how to book optional tours. Was not aware of when company would need to be aware of interest in spending extra days on trip. The tour was good overall, the accommodation was excellent and the guides, reps and drivers were excellent. The highlights for me were the pyramids and valley of the kings. I found the value for money of the trip to be average. I also didn't like the extra expenses when flight was delayed. But I would recommend the tour to friends.

Before the tour, I would have liked an acknowledgement confirming everything is going to plan prior to departure. The welcome meeting was good but was a repeat of tour information. The pace of the itinerary was good but would have liked a few more days to the tour. The accommodation was all excellent, except for the Aswan hotel? pls dont use it again. Luxor Temple was my personal highlight. Thank you to Waleed for making our trip truly very special. We were very lucky to have a wonderful group/family and an excellent tour guide. Thanks a million to Waleed. Loved every second of the tour overall.

Aswan hotel was not good? dirty. I didn't enjoy the early flight from Hurghada to Cairo. But it was an excellent tour overall. The Great Pyramids were the highlight. Waleed was wonderful. Very knowledgeable in history, funny, pleasant, loves Egypt & shared that love with us.

An excellent tour overall. The sites were all great, the highlights were all the temples! The guide and reps were excellent. The transport was good but I didn't enjoy the long bus rides. The Wifi was not great in the Luxor hotel. Great value for money and I would definitely recommend/travel again.

An excellent tour overall. But I don't like the shopping on the last day, it ruined my plan. Cuz I tried to wear Egyptian clothes to photograph with pyramids or phinx but I have no chance :'(( My highlight was seeing pyramid. Sharif is doing very good job! Humor, careful and rich knowledge. Let me enjoy the whole trip. And I hope to stay in the pyramid and sphinx for a longer time, I mean, we came for it, only 15 mins to take pics in such an important sight? NOT ENOUGH AT ALL

An excellent tour overall. Booking was all great informative, the consultant was helpful and the website had easy access. The sights were all great, I was ill at Luxor but still enjoyed. The bus transport was good but I didn't enjoy the train. The best parts were riding a camel in & through the pyramid.

Airport meet and greet was helpful and efficient. Tour guide was great :) Itinerary could use less breaks/shorter breaks @ shops/shorter lunch stops. Info about extra costs/tips can be made clearer. Local reps not too helpful= hotel staff + driver to hotel. Hotel staff were pushy/not helpful. Rooms ok. Drivers were excellent on some tricky roads. I had a fabulous time overall. Jordan is a beautiful country. Fab week away, thank you to guide JJ!

Abu Simbel was the highlight. The sleeper train was the least enjoyable? cramped. Overall we are all extremely happy with the planning and structure of the tour. We felt safe and enjoyed tremendously.

Aboudy is EXCELLENT! He did a brilliant job! Thank You Aboudy!!! First night accommodation @ Cairo was no good. Air conditioning not working. Food no good. Aswan Hotel, no kettle in the room, shower not working properly. Luxor Hotel was good, no Wifi in the room though. Hurghada hotel was excellent, love it! The sites were all good, the felucca was excellent and Abu Simbel was the highlight. I didn't enjoy the very early morning start + long bus drive. It was a good trip overall and I would recommend to others and travel with you again.

A more detailed itinerary would have been nice. There was a lot of guessing about specifics of the tour. Also, all information & rooms were under my middle name. The meet and greet at the airport was great, a simple process. JJ was very knowledgeable and personable. His English was hard to follow at times but overall he was great. Gerasa beds were horrible and the cleanliness was lacking. Rooms were not very tidy, the hung back up used towels and didn't replenish things fom mini bar they claimed would be there daily. Bus wasn't the cleanest but the air conditioning was great & JJ kept it stocked with water. The driver was great, very pleasant. Transportation to Petra by night wasn't planned & hotel called friends to take us which cost money both times. I enjoyed the tour overall.

A great experience and extremely enjoyable. Overwhelmed by the knowledge + passion of Ahmed, especially ancient Egypt. He is an endearing soul of love. He was the highlight of the tour + the Great Pyramid. No negatives.
