Travel Insurance

We believe that safety and enjoyment are equally important when travelling with Encounters Travel. It is therefore one of our terms and conditions of booking that you have adequate travel insurance in place before you travel with us. This must cover medical expenses and repatriation in case of an accident or illness while you are abroad. We also strongly recommend you also have cover for lost/stolen baggage, trip curtailment, and cancellation cover to protect you as well. 

As of 31st July 2024 we are no longer selling our own travel insurance policies (previously offered through a partnership with Endsleigh). All policies purchased up to 30th July 2024 remain valid with all the normal coverage, whatever date your trip will depart.
