Southeast Asia

The countries of Southeast Asia offer a wealth of cultural and adventurous holiday options. The bustling city of Bangkok, the spectacular ruins of Angkor Wat, the jungle covered hills of Vietnam, and the many tranquil islands and colourful coral reefs are just a taste of what's on offer.

Thailand welcomes millions of tourists every year, with most drawn to the idyllic islands & beaches of the south and the colourful sights and sounds of Bangkok. However, there is much more to offer, including historical sites, wildlife parks, jungle treks and cultural encounters. Getting off the tourist trail in Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos will offer a rewarding experience, and all these countries combine well into longer multi-stop itineraries. The crowded and fascinating city of Singapore is steeped in history makes an ideal stopover en route. The beautiful spice islands of Indonesia are perfect for a relaxing beach based holiday with enough interesting sights and activities to keep the more adventurous traveller occupied. These include scuba diving the coral reefs, wandering the chaotic city streets or trekking inland in search of wildlife and mountain views.

TOUR REVIEWS Southeast Asia

All very good, easy to book and communication well received. Our only problem we had was we were given the wrong hotel name on our Itinerery to where we should have been staying, which caused allot of confusion with our pick up, and we ended up staying a night in a different hotel, but it was all sorted out in the morning by hotel staff
Hotels were all very nice with friendly helpful staff, our guide communicated well with us informing us of pick up and drop off times etc, The tour was well planned out, The tour guide was very knowlegable, and did well at communicating in 3 different languages to our group. It was a good way of seeing many different places in Morocco that we would not have seen had we not done the tour

I thought it was very good we didn't have to worry about anything everything was in order and kept with the schedule as planned, unless we wanted to deviated from it to do somethingelse. The trip really a trip of a life time.
There was a time many years ago that I wanted to travel to Egypt and didn't because of the cost. This trip was, to me, very affordable. I think everyone should experience this trip. The tour guide was alos excellent, Sherif Mohammad.

Everything was very well organized and our guide Magz was incredible! He genuinely looked out for us the entire trip, especially in the markets and busy areas, as well as taught us about all of the history of the places we were at. Transportation was always ready and waiting for us and the accommodations were way nicer than we expected. Well done Encounters!
We really got to see a lot for the time we spent in Egypt and Encounters made sure no time was wasted in waiting for transportation and rooms and things like that. We had a great group, a great guide, and really learned a lot. All accommodations were exceptional and we couldn't believe how we did everything for such a good price

Customer service was excellent. Every time I sent an email, I received a response very quickly. I took a trip last year and had to continually contact the company for responses, so getting detailed answers quickly was great and appreciated. In all honesty, not getting ignored after paying is a sign of a great company that cares about their client.
I enjoyed the trip. Only issue is that the tour guide changed a part of the trip because he didn't want us to do something. Not the fault of encounters. But otherwise the trip was great. I would like to say that travelling from Fez to Marrakech should be on a plane or train. Driving was too long and wasted a day.

The booking process was easy and simple
My only complaint was that the first hotel we stayed at in Jordan, the JAD Hotel was not the hotel in the itinerary. It was supposed to be the Imperial Palace, which looked like a substantially better hotel
