Taking your children on holiday can be an unforgettable adventure for all the family. Children learn by experience, and the educational and character building benefits of travelling from a young age are well known. We have designed a range of holidays specially suited to the needs of families with children. Some of these special requirements include child friendly guides, extra free time, more flexibility to do and see what you want, the proper management of important safety issues, and most of all, the reducing of stress for the parents. Running your tour privately allows your guide to be more flexible with your itinerary during the day, and to spend more/less time at certain sites according to the interest and ages of your children. There are many countries in which we operate that are very well suited to active and adventurous family holidays that will not only keep the children happy and occupied but also be challenging an rewarding for parents too. The booking process was easy and simple
My only complaint was that the first hotel we stayed at in Jordan, the JAD Hotel was not the hotel in the itinerary. It was supposed to be the Imperial Palace, which looked like a substantially better hotel
The tour well and truly exceeded our expectations. Credit definitely needs to be given to Prakesh, our guide, who was very knowledgable, funny and a pleasure to spend two weeks with. Ishwor, our porter, was also great! We had the time of our lives :-)
Very efficient service, easy to book and answered all our questions and concerns thoroughly. Simple to book and good price. Changed suggestions to suit our needs and checked at each hotel that the booking we requested (2 joining rooms) was actually made in reality. Good introductory overview of Egypt on first morning too.
The welcome agent and drivers were excellent in Egypt. The Egyptologist guides superb, especially with including our two children, aged 7 and 9 years. We had a private family tour as went March 2014 when few tourists were visiting Egypt but found everywhere safe and everyone so friendly.
We were very lucky there was only one other couple who were very nice and our guide was excellent. His name was Phuong. He had a lot of knowledge, put it over very well and was very concerned that we were all happy and always went out of his way to help and did 'the extra mile'. He really made the holiday so good
We thought it was a good tour but did not particularly enjoy the two full days at the seaside. It could have been cut back to one. We did enjoy the snorkeling and swimming. We would have also liked an extra day at Hulong Bay as it is a long journey each way and we barely had 24 hours there. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful in the tours and hotels
Everything went really smoothly on the booking end and on the ground in Egypt. The only surprise was when arriving jet lagged at the hotel being presented with a list of fees that needed to be paid right then. The problem was that everything up until then had these fees in US dollars and now the fees were in Egyptian pounds. It pretty much cleaned out our stash of Egyptian money. Had we known we had to pay in Egyptian currency we would have sought out additional currencies places at home to get us the funds we needed. (Banks wouldn't order the funds). However after that the tour itself was great. Our guide Emad did a great job.
This was a great way to see all the primary historical sites in Egypt efficiently and with ease. I can't imagine how slow and difficult it would have been otherwise. It was also a good jumping off point to then spend a few weeks on or own seeing other parts of the country and focus on modern day Egypt
