This thrilling Jordan shoestring tour kicks off in the bustling capital of Amman - here travellers will experience the Downtown area including the Citadel and 6,000 seat Roman Theatre.
Later the afternoon, the tour will set out to the extensive and well preserved Roman remains at Jerash. After marvelling at Jerash, travellers will head south along the scenic King Highway towards Petra - the lost city, visiting Madaba, Mount Nebo, and the spectacular crusader castle at Kerak. Let's not forget to mention the incredibly majestic Wadi Rum and its deep valleys!
A full day is set aside on this shoestring tour to explore the wonderful "Rose Red City" of Petra. Just picture walking through the narrow, winding Siq and wondering at the majesty of the mighty Treasury - built more than 2,000 years ago.
A morning guided tour of Petra can be expected - here travellers will learn all about its history and beauty. There is time set aside for travellers wanting to explore in their own, uninterrupted.
This Jordan trip continues south, where travellers will spend a night under the stars in a Bedouin camp amidst the desert sands and huge cliffs and rocky outcrops of Wadi Rum - famous for its links with the British Army officer Lawrence of Arabia.
