Morocco is a country where African, Arab and European cultures come together to create a unique identity. Bridging Europe and Africa, Morocco is a land of tolerance, a mixure of cultures and beliefs, and a country famous for its friendly welcome. This fascinating blend of history, architecture, art, music, and food, make Morocco an unforgettable holiday destination.
This 15-day tour will introduce you to all that Morocco has to offer. It visits most of Morocco's beautiful cities as well as the mountains, desert and of course, the beach. The tour begins with a Marrakech tour, we spend a full day exploring the sights of this amazing city, and the following day we head to Ait Benhaddou before travelling through the Atlas Mountains to Ouarzazate. We continue our journey by visiting natural wonders on our way to the oasis town of Tinghir. We then head into the desert to sleep under the desert skies in a traditional Berber camp. We continue our journey with visits to the medieval city of Fez, Meknes, the capital Rabat and romantic Casablanca. We continue down the coast to the fortified city of El Jadida. In the morning we continue our trip to the costal town of Essaouira, for some relaxing time in the sunshine, you can spend your time lazing on the beach, exploring the town or surfing. After two nights in this beautiful seaside town we make our way back to Marrakech where you have free time to shop eat or explore before a final night in this enchanting city.

On your arrival in Marrakech airport (RAK) our representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to settle in, relax after your flight, and have a first look around. Extra nights before the tour starts are available on request.
If you arrive early enough, you can head into Marrakech's famous Djemaa el Fna Square for a first taste of Moroccan food at one of the main street stalls, while watching the many street performers and salesmen offering their wares.

Today's tour of Marrakech begins with a trip to the iconic Koutoubia Mosque, home to the minaret which has become a symbol of the city. We then visit the Mausoleum and Bahia Palace which both host intricate and beautiful Arabic craftsmanship. In the afternoon we head to the lively souks around Jemaa El Fna square. Home to many different types of traders these bustling and aromatic streets are uniquely Moroccan. Today's tour ends at the lively Djemaa El Fna Square.

After breakfast this morning we have a spectacular drive across the Tizi N'tichka col which at 2260m is the highest pass in Northern Africa. We then drive to Morocco's most well known Kasbah at the UNESCO world heritage site of Ait Benhaddou. After lunch we head on to Ouarzazate or 'place of no noise'. An incredibly dramatic landscape, this area has played host to countless well known films

Departing this morning along the road of a thousand Kasbahs we visit the beautiful Kasbah found at Amerhidel and then arrive into Boulmane from where we visit the impressive Dades Canyon offering great views of the surrounding desert landscape. Later we drive on to Tinghir where we overnight.

We start this morning with a visit to the nearby Todra Gorge, before continuing our drive through the Atlas Mountains and transferring into 4WD vehicles to travel through the dunes to Merzouga. Here we will watch the sunset over the desert before sleeping under the stars in a traditional Berber camp.

Our journey through the Moroccan landscape continues today as we drive on to Fez, following ancient caravan routes and passing through Midelt and the Ziz Valley.

Over 1200 years old, the city of Fez is a labyrinth of souks, mosques and spice filled streets. We delve into the fascinating history of the city with a full tour encompassing the Moulay Idrss mausoleum, Nejjarine fountain and the Bou Anania Medersa. We also spend time confusing our senses in the cacophony of noise surrounding the heady alleyways of Medieval Medina, home to tanneries, carpet shops and local restaurants before heading to Fez Jdid to explore the cities many varied souks.

We leave Fez this morning for the short drive to the ancient Roman city of Volubilis. Recently listed as a UNESCO world heritage site and dating back as far as AD40 Volubilis is home to some of the most impressive Roman ruins in North Africa. We then head to the Berber town of Meknes. Formerly the capital of Morocco during the reign of Moulay Ismail, he transformed the town, constructing intricate gateways, beautiful gardens and at 40m the largest ramparts in the country.

After breakfast we depart Meknes and travel on to the Moroccan capital of Rabat. Strategically located on the Atlantic coastline, Rabat began as a settlement in the third century BC. Here we enjoy a full tour of the city including visits to the Royal Palace, Ouadaya Garden & Kasbah and the Hassan Tower Mosque.

Today our Moroccan adventure heads to the well known city of Casablanca. Thanks to Humphrey Bogart Casablanca has maintained its status as an enduring romantic location although today the city is regarded as the economic capital of Morocco. Still an incredibly charming city, we enjoy a full tour taking in the Royal Palace, Central Market, Mohammed V square and of course the impressive Hassan II Mosque - able to host 25,000 worshippers and home to the world's tallest minaret.

This morning we head along the coast to the port of El Jadida. A fine example of both European and North African culture and architecture, El Jadida was abandoned by the Portuguese in 1769 after over two hundred years rule leaving behind them an impressive citadel and huge fortified walls.

After breakfast in El Jadida, we stay on the coastline and head to the small resort town of Oualidia where we visit the local blue lagoon before travelling south to Essaouira passing through Safi.

Well regarded as one of Morocco's most beautiful areas, Essaouira has always attracted and inspired artists, drawn by its good light and tranquil, relaxed way of life. Wandering around the old Medina and its fascinating streets dotted with art galleries it's not hard to imagine why the city drew visitors such as Orson Welles and Jimi Hendrix throughout the years.
