This 7-day tour of Greece combines the impressive and fascinating ancient sites of Athens with some of the Mediterranean's most beautiful and interesting islands, Santorini and Mykonos.
We begin our journey in Athens itself, here we’ll visit the impressive ancient sites of the Acropolis, Parthenon and much more. Next we’ll take a journey across the Aegean onboard a local ferry, our destination is the volcanic island of Santorini. The present form of the island was created over 3,500 years ago during a huge volcanic eruption. The eruption created a large caldera which is now filled by the sea, creating a beautifully photographic landscape. We have 2 nights on Santorini where you can spend your time exploring small villages, visiting the wineries, hot springs or you can also join our optional sightseeing boat trip. You can extend your time in Santorini if you wish, or finish the tour here before continuing your time in Greece independently.
Leaving Santorini behind we’ll take another short ferry to the nearby island of Mykonos. In recent years Mykonos has become known as one of Europe’s most stylish and fashionable islands and we’ll have 2 nights here to explore at leisure. Mykonos is a photographers dream with idyllic landscapes at every turn.
Our time in Greece ends after taking a ferry back to the mainland. As this is a private tour, the itinerary can be fully customised to your own requirements with different levels and styles of hotel accommodation, more or less time on each island, or more time on the mainland at the end of the trip.

The itinerary above is subject to change based on the Greek island ferry schedules. While it does not happen often, sometimes ferry schedules are changed without notice and ferries may also be cancelled completely due to poor weather conditions. In this event the program may need to be adjusted and you may end up spending more or less time in one location than originally planned. This is the nature of travel between the islands and we thank you for your patience and understanding in the rare event of this occurring.
Unlike many of the Greek islands, Santorini is an all year round destination, and remains a very attractive and interesting place to visit whatever time of year it may be. However, some hotels, shops, restaurants and attractions do close during the winter months (November to March). During this time we may use boutique style guesthouses located closer to the centre of Fira so that you are as close as possible to what is still open.
This is a sample tailor-made tour and can start on any day through the seasons shown below. Prices are based on 2 people travelling, with customised pricing on request for larger numbers and adjusted itineraries.
