Highly informative. Very packed itinerary. Everything ran smoothly. Guide was amazing!!! He was passionate about Egypt. Early starts, and the breakfast boxes were welcomed. Wish we had more time in Hurghada.

Absolutely incredible

The tour was made incredible by the tour guide Big Mo! He made the history lessons very enjoyable, gave us the perfect amount of time at different landmarks, and kept everyone very happy with in the tour group of strangers. We did survive a sandstorm which Big MO kept his cool through and made us all feel safer. I would highly recommend any tour Big Moe is leading but be …

Really fabulous tour. It's definitely a hectic week with early starts, and by the end of it, you'll surely feel "templed out." However, you'll get to see incredible sites like the pyramids, Karnak, Valley of the Kings, and spend an afternoon sailing on the Nile. The guides are very knowledgeable. The tour was fantastic, Sherif was the best guide ever! You could tell he was absolutely passionate about his job, his craft, his country and the people. He went above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable, safe and having a great time. My only negative regarding this trip is my glutenfree dietary needs were not catered a majority of the time. This aside, best trip ever!

I really enjoyed my Jordan tour. The itinerary was planned well... everyday was great, and then the next day was better! Of course the peak...

I really enjoyed my Jordan tour. The itinerary was planned well... everyday was great, and then the next day was better! Of course the peak was Petra, but Jerash was an incredible gem! Our group size was nice, and Eddie, our guide, was fun and informative. I will book another trip with this agency!

It also made the day before about 150 km longer and the day after 100km longer. Neither accommodation listed on the itinerary was used. We were not given accurate information by Encounters Travel. While this was being resolved, my parents experienced harassment and threats to their safety. Even once it had been resolved they continued to be harassed despite the agreement they had reached with the travel guide. When I emailed to raise this point we received merely the briefest of apologies, with more focus on excusing the guides' behaviour.
