Great experience

Had a great experience on Encounters Travel "Discover Egypt" tour. Small group, everyone very friendly. Excellent guides (Big Mo and Sherif). All hotels were very nice. It is an active trip, but you see all the main sites and monuments in Egypt.

Fantastic Adventure! The monuments, tombs, pyramids, temples & statues of ancient Egypt are absolutely breathtaking. We were on Encounters Travel 9 day Nubian Adventure.from March 15-24.and enjoyed everyday. We saw so many wonderful sights in Cairo, Aswan and Luxor -all that Encounters Travel promised and more. I just returned from the 9 day Nubian Adventure tour with Encounters Travel. The trip was absolutely incredible. Encounters Travel covered all of the planning and logistics from the moment we stepped off the plane in Cairo all the way to helping us through ticketing for our return flight. Encounters Discover Egypt Tour with Red Sea Excursion

I can't recommend this tour strongly enough. It was a great experience and a lot packed into 10 days. I purchased this tour through groupon, so it was definitely worth the price I paid and more. Our Egyptologist guide, Sheriff Hassan, was amazing. He was helpful to keep us from paying too much as vendors will try to get as much money out of tourists as they think they can. …

Solo Trip to Egypt

The places we visited were awesome and amazing. Actually, beyond amazing but I can't think of a better word. :) Ahmad, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable of the places we visited and local customs. However, I would suggest that the company be amenable to accepting other cards besides just Visa and MC.

We bought the tour on a groupon and what a deal it was. I have done Viking River Cruises before but this was also an outstanding trip. I absolutely loved Egypt and felt very safe there. Our tour guide was the best and really showed us a great experience. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone - young and old. One of my best trips ever!!!
