At the island Philae Temple, you will have the option to visit the amazing temples built by Ramses II at Abu Simbel which were completely dismantled and rebuilt when Lake Nasser was flooded.
A relaxing overnight cruise on a traditional felucca sailboat is next on the to-do list - this is a great way to break up your sightseeing with some relaxation time while seeing rural Egyptian from a different point of view.
After the trip on the felucca sailboat, we'll visit Edfu temple en-route to Luxor, which is considered by many as the world's greatest open-air museum - here we'll tour both the east bank of the river to see the huge temple complex at Karnak and Luxor temple and the west bank of the Nile to explore tombs in the Valley of the Kings, see Queen Hatchepsut temple and Deir El-Medina, the valley of the artisans, as well as the Colossi of Memnon.
While at in Luxor it is highly recommended to take hot air balloon ride - it is one of the best ways to view the open-air museum.
Lastly, we head east to a beach town resort in Hurghada for some relaxation time by the Red Sea - snorkelling, scuba diving, and other watersports options are available.
The tour finishes off in Cairo with a walk through the back streets of Old Cairo to do some souvenir shopping at the Khan-el-Khalili bazaar.
