Every year, thousands of travellers fall in love with Croatia's stunning Adriatic coastline and sea, whilst enjoying the unique cuisine inspired by its rich cultural and natural heritage.
Our Balkans tours run through this spectacular Eastern European country, which was founded in the 7th century on the ruins of the Roman Empire. Fans of the hit series 'Game of Thrones' will be thrilled to know that our tours take you to Dalmatian coast in Split and Dubrovnik - the fantasy location of 'King's Landing'.
Undoubtedly, the jewel in Croatia's crown is its coastline, with views of many islands in the distance.
It's sun-kissed, pebbly beaches are also a delight, the perfect place to lounge away and relax, but for those with an adrenaline rush, there are numerous water-based activities to take advantage of, including snorkelling, diving, kayaking, windsurfing and sailing.
Our Croatia tours take you on a journey through time, as we explore Croatia's medieval remains and its Byzantine past by visiting places such as Dubrovnik, Zadar and Split.
We'll also visit Venetian palaces, Napoleonic forts, early Slavic churches, and Viennese mansions. Led by an English-speaking travel guide, you will get an authentic Balkan experience on our Croatia tours.

Encounters Travel did such a superb job in organizing this tour. I had never heard of them before going on the Maldives Magic tour, however now I will recommend them to friends/family and use them for my future planned trips.
Our tour is what made the trip that much more memorable. Rather than being plopped at a westernized resort, we were able to get a taste of how the locals live, eat and entertain themselves. We stayed in quaint guesthouses on the islands amongst the locals, ate authentic Maldivian cuisine (one day even with a Maldivian family who made us breakfast), and viewed a traditional dance/singing performance which was absolutely delightful. This was a trip of a lifetime that I will never forget.
There was a lot of communication from the beginning. The encounters staff was very responsive and the tour guide was great and very accommodating. Encounters was also able to help me with last minute changes to my itinerary while I was on the trip.
I had an amazing time on the trip. Everything was incredibly well organized and planned out to a tee. Our tour guide, Big Mo, was amazing and super knowledgeable. I couldn't have imagined a better trip to Egypt!
Anthony has been amazing throughout my planning of my tour. He has been very quick in replying to my emails and always answering with everything I wanted to know.
I look forward to hopefully planning my next trip through him next year!
I thought it was very good we didn't have to worry about anything everything was in order and kept with the schedule as planned, unless we wanted to deviated from it to do somethingelse. The trip really a trip of a life time.
There was a time many years ago that I wanted to travel to Egypt and didn't because of the cost. This trip was, to me, very affordable. I think everyone should experience this trip. The tour guide was alos excellent, Sherif Mohammad.
