I traveled with Encounters Travel Sand & Seas Tour (EGYPT). The Trip was absolutely amazing without a hitch. Our tour guide Waleed (Who I would Strongly recommend if you’re considering this tour) was Knowledgeable and full of excitement. The trip was split into 3 cities over the 9 day period...Cairo, Luxor & Hurgata. With that said, Everything was totally SAFE. At no point during the trip did I ever feel in danger. A couple of friends warned me but their concern was overblown. Waleed was awesome about where to go! I would recommend this tour to everyone looking to venture to Egypt! And don’t forget to request Waleed as your tour guide. 🤟🤟🤟👌👌👌👍👍👍💯

I went on a 10 trip to Egypt with Encounters Travel. They work in Egypt with Discover Egypt. These guys are the best.
I was met at Cairo Airport by Anass upon arrival. He also walked me through check ins and security at the airport when departing at the end of the trip.
While in Egypt, the tour guides Magz and Ahmed were awesome. They studied Egyptology at University and were very good teachers to our group. At each location, whether Temple or tomb, we were given the full story without being overburdened with unimportant details.
The tour group consisted of 15 of which 5 of us were split out for 3 days on upgraded versions of the trip. Everything was well organized and structured. I felt safe and secure the entire trip.
I am going to use Encounters Travel for my next adventure.

This was an extremely well organised tour. We visited Cairo, Aswan, Abu Simbel, Luxor, Hurgada. We visited many important sites - it was a very packed itinerary but if you are interested in Egyptology it was wonderful. We also spent one night on a felucca. The guide was extremely knowledgable with excellent English. There were 21 people in all and we were split into two groups - one of 11 people with one guide, and 10 people with another guide. Security measures were excellent and unobtrusive. I can highly recommend the tour.

We just returned from our trip and have a heavy heart. We enjoyed Egypt very much and have to say the people, the guides from Encounter and the whole staff are exceptional professionals.
As soon as we landed in Cairo the tour organizer-Khalifa and his associate met us and started taking care of the visa, security check point, transfer to the bus, etc. On board the bus he explained in detail the tour itinerary and answered all questions very accurately. We immediately felt at ease as the environment became very friendly and welcoming. Khalifa is truly a very well organized Manager and at different times during our interactions with him he was very professional, accomodating, and customer oriented. The entire trip was organized very well as we had a total of 69 tourists mainly from the US and were split in to 4 groups. The work done by all staff in handling bus transfers, luggage assistance, tour itinerary details, guide directions left no doubts or questions. Our guide Waleed Kamouna-what can you say about him- simply a very well educated Egyptologist and a thorough gentleman. From the get go he treated every member with respect and courtesy. One question and Waleed can spend an hour explaining in detail. His demeanor and repertoire with people is exceptional. This makes him a genuine guide. We were very well cared for and truly a family atmosphere was created by Waleed.Contrary to media hype Egypt was a safe place to visit and we found the Egyptian people to be very friendly and welcoming. Without a doubt Egypt has a treasure trove of ancient history and we intend to visit again. Lastly, we had to back out of a pre paid optional for $298 and when we asked for a refund. Encounters Travel did not bat an eye lid and upon our return to US the funds were in our account in less than 3 days. This speaks to the honesty and integrity of Encounters Travel and its staff.
