Just by Google alone, you will find that the Taj Mahal is one of the most sought-after Instagram spots in India. Oh, and did we mention that it is also a seventh wonder of the world and considered the Crown Jewel of India.
Okay, so, we are not going to spend another 200 words describing how Instagram-worthy the Taj Mahal is, because we all know that pictures just do not do it justice.
Be sure to go early - around 6:30 am - to beat the crowd if you are Instagram-driven. A bonus by going this early gives you enough time to walk at your leisure.
Touring India with a local guide would be easier to ensure a great photography experience.

The City Palace in Jaipur is one of the most popular tourist destinations, especially for first-timers in Jaipur.
The City Palace, located in the centre of the city, is an impressive fusion of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture - here you will find that the layout of the main complex includes a temple, a royal guest house, the royal courtrooms, and the residential complex. There are three different gates to enter the City Palace - the first is right opposite to the astronomy complex – Jantar Mantar. The second is the gate in Jaleb Chowk which is closer to the Hawa Mahal and is called the Udai Pol. And the last one is a set of three gates called Tripolia which is reserved for the royal family.

Jodhpur is home to famed forts, palaces, mausoleums, gardens, lakes, and towers – making it a hotspot for tourists. It is also renowned for its textile industry, exquisite furniture shops, delectable cuisine, and bustling bazaars, among many other attractions.

Known as the "pink city," Jaipur shows its best side when you are up at Nahargarh Fort - located on a rising ridge that provides a commanding view. The extended, mile-long wall generously offers plenty of space for taking all those Instagrammable shots.

The Ganges River is considered a divine goddess by Hindus, who connect it to their heart and soul. A visit here grants not only stunning Instagram shots but also mixed feelings for the sights that you might never forget.
While here, you will soon note that each of the Ghats (steps that lead to the river) bears a story of devoted prayer, or a bather, or a boatman that has been paddling along the river for his whole life – a story with a real meaning that will leave you with a lasting effect.
A traveller once described their experience in the Ganges as, "Nothing in the reading I had done prepared me for the real thing." We suggest simply experiencing it for yourself – and not only for Instagram!
